Question: I need to lose belly fat by summer?
I'm 13 5'5 and a girl
I'm 135 pounds ...it's healthy weight but I want to lose a little belly fat in 3 months I am doing a lot of sports and exercising alot and eating healthy and drinking only water is there a faster way to lose weight ps. I am losing about 1 pound every week

Well first off, using a scale is a bad way to measure your body fat because it could easily be offset by your water weight. If you are using a scale weight yourself in the morning because you haven't had anything to drink that day or weight yourself a couple times a day and average it out. Another to keep in mind along with only drinking water and eating healthy is portion control. Portion control is the main reason people have trouble losing weight. This pretty much means eating not as much as you can each meal. There are a couple ways to help control it, the first would be to eat until you are about 80% full, this is a strategy that people who have lived to be 100 have used. Also, there is an app called Lose it! that helps you plan the number of calories in each meal to lose up to 2 (i think) pounds a week. A thing to make sure you are not doing is starving yourself, if you do that you will most likely lose muscle along with fat. If you lose muscle, cardio will be harder to do and you won't be able to get adequate exercise. Hope I helped and have good luck!

It sounds like you're doing everything right! All you can do is exercise, eat right and drink lots of water. You're losing weight at a very healthy rate, which means that you've figured out a good calorie intake for your body. You have plenty of time before summer, so don't start some extreme diet that will be hard to stick with. Belly fat will come off as the weight continues to come off.

Eat around 1200 calories a day and exercise for an hour a day. But 1 pound per week is very good and healthy!
