Is it true that the younger you are the easier it is to lose weight ?!

Question: Is it true that the younger you are the easier it is to lose weight ?
Answers:

Yes....as you age, your metabolism naturally starts to slow down, so you have to work harder in later years to lose weight than when you were a kid or young adult...

It’s never easy to lose weight, however old you are.

Of course an older person would have a lower BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) so a 5’5, 120lbs, 60 years old woman would only need 1,200 calories while a 5’5, 120lbs, 17 years old teenage girl would need 1,400 calories but that does not mean that the teenage girl would have an easier time to lose weight.

The older woman would eat 1,200 calories and then exercise for 3,500 calories to lose one pound of body fat while the younger woman would eat 1,400 calories and also has to exercise for 3,500 calories to lose one pound of body fat.

According to my experience, it gets easier to lose weight as you grow older, because you have more knowledge about how to do it the right way, and you have more patience and lower expectations. You’re not like “I want to lose weight quickly, fast, easy”; you take your sweet time and do not have deadlines, like a prom and wanting to wear a ridiculous bikini at the beach this summer.

Yes the younger it is the easier it is to lose weight. The science behind that is because of your metabolism. Your metabolism is something that helps you burn calories. As you age your metabolism begins to slow down. Also towards the evening time your metabolism slows down for the day

Absolutely..
but that doesn't mean that it's EASY to lose weight when you're young. It's hard at any age..it's just easiER and SMARTER to do it when you're young.

Not always true. Because it is true that the when u age Ur metab gets slower but it's not true for everyone. Same with hair and nail growth. It depends on your diet and physical activity
