Question: 17 yr old 170 pounds... help!?
hello!
Here is my dilemma. I am really good at getting my cardio and strength training in. I have a PE class where i do about 3 days a week of weightlifting. Then i also have personal wellness Class, where we do excersise videos like Pilate's, cardio blast, ect.). I also am in track. So i have practice 3-4 days a week. And i also go biking on the side. Sounds good huh? I know. So my workout routine is good. ITS FOOD THATS KILLING ME!
i always over eat and i cant stop. i will do good for maybe 2 days, then i lose it and eat everything around me. I want to lose 30 pounds, but i wont be able to if i continue that. I know if i learned how to control my eating habits, i would lose weight. Any tips? PLEASE AND THANK YOU!
btw, im 5 foot 5

You sound like you're a healthy weight for your age..

Don't lose too much weight, it's unhealthy and unnattractive.
Tips for controlled eating would be draw up a menu for the weeks including breakfast, lunch, dinner and healthy snacks (muesli, fruit etc) in between each meal. Have all the stuff at home for easy access and limit how much unhealthy food is on hand. But remember to treat yourself sometimes!

It's what you are eating. Plus I bet you are not having a lot of bowl movements. Try the garden diet if you can and also do colonics, if you can't then enemas. Truly do research o this, it has helped me. Good luck

your bmi is 28.3 which is overweight, just cut down on meals and then you should be a healthy weight

Eat helathy: eat 3 whole meals a day. FOr your meals, you want something helahtly and that fills you up so that you don't get hungry again for a long time. You need to also make healthy choices like eating whole wheat bread or whole grain bread instead of white bread and brown rice instead of white rice. Cut all junk food. They are bad for you and cause weight gain fast. Cut fast food as well! If you get hungry in between your 3 meals, eat a piece of fruit/vegetable, low-fat yogurt, skim milk, or fruit juice. THey are all good and healthy and will burn fat. As well as eating healthy, combine with exercise and you will lose the weight healthfully and easily.
For the exercise, don't overdo yourself. Just walking, jogging for 1 hour each day will be more than enough. Rememeber to rest for 1 day of the week. Also, if 1 hour is too long for you, you can BREAK IT DOWN thorughout the day. Nobody said you have to get it all done in one shot, just do some after you wake up, some in the afternoon myabe, and sometime before or after dinner. It's more managaeable that way.

Yes, eat healthier, 4 servings of veggies would be 1/2 cooked or 1 cup raw (per serving), 3 servings of fruit like 1 apple or 1/2 cup berries (per serving), protein should be about 7oz raw or 2 eggs (per serving) drink lots of water, no caffeine. 4 starches a day, 1 cup popcorn, 1 slice bread or 7-9 mini flavored rice cakes, ect. If you snack, snack on proteins like white cheeses or natural peanut butter. Your active enough to remain healthy, you just need portion control and better foods.

I did a diet just like this and lost 3lbs a week, totalling 50lbs lost with absolutely no activity
