Question: Can you remember the fist time you ever got an injection?, how old were you, and did you get a lolly after it?

I'm not sure you would call it an injection, as in one needle, but back when I was going to start kindergarten, we were still being vaccinated for polio. That consisted of about 5-10 needle pricks in a circle on your arm or buttocks. It created a round scab that when it fell off left a permanent vaccination scar. Mine is on my left upper arm.
About 3 ab\nd I got s spoon with sugar and water in it.
No colour or flavour just the sweetness.
I used to run and hide from the injection.
First I can recall was at school nurse, I was about 5 or 6 , no lolly, just a stern look as if to say "dont cry" . No idea what it was for.
