What is a better workout for me, P90X or Insanity and how much better would it m!

Question: What is a better workout for me, P90X or Insanity and how much better would it make me in performance?
I am 17, 6'0 185lbs and i am not sure which one would be better for me. I am in good shape already as i play football, basketball, and track but i want to perform better in speed and strength. Right now i can bench 225 5 times and i can run the 100 yard dash in 11.3 I am also trying to get a 6 pack but based on what i saw on TV, i dont think that will be a problem for the workouts that they do. So, which workout DVD is better for me to perform better and how much better would it make me?

Answers:

I have not personally done P90x but from what I hear, it is more for strength training and building muscle I have the Insanity workout DVD, and it is a STRUGGLE to even finish one of the dvds, it is a very hard work out! But I think doing Insanity would make you more lean vs p90x which I think is built for more muscle. You can order these both of Amazon for a discounted price and you could try one program and if you don't like it try the other, or you may like both! best of luck to you

I would say to look at Shaun T's Insanity program over P90X for speed, agility and mobility. Actually Shaun is about to release a new program, called "asylum" which is a follow up to "insanity." I believe it releases in April, but previews are available. It's supposed to be a four week program and is even more geared towards peak athletic performance. Since your supposed to run it for 30 days, it's not a full program and is better suited to run in conjunction/hybrid with Insanity.
