Will I Get Fat Over One Day?!


Question: Will I Get Fat Over One Day?
I generally eat healthy for all days of the week (veggies, fruits, whole grains). I also exercise 5 days out of the week. Though today, I'm having a birthday party/sleepover and I know I'll be eating junk all day (cake, chips, cookies, you name it) . Will I gain a significant amount of weight/fat because of this?

Think of it this way a quarter pounder at Mcdonalds is exactly that, .25 of a pound, and it's not solid fat. Additionally, the body typically stores extra carbs as fat, but it uses it to replenish energy stores first. You say you exercise, so carbs are always being used to do this. So all in all, as long as you're not eating like, 10 pounds of food that is literally 50% fat your possible weight gain will be single digits, and after a bowel movement, even less. Although, your GI tract may hate you later for all the fat...



No, as long as you are healthy and exercise every week then you may only put less than a pound on. You should be fine x
