How to beat cravings inorder to not eat ....?!


Question: How to beat cravings inorder to not eat ....?
I'm fasting for 3 days, how do I beat cravings? I always crave chips, salads, goldfish crackers, chocolate, etc. but I can't do that...for three days, I can only take in water. Any tips mentally/physically? Thanks guysss.

Answers:

Physically: Healthy walks and exercises should keep your mind off eating, or do activities that you enjoy. Or, if your religious, pray to god for help in not eating.

Mentally: Prepare your mind by questioning about those foods, "Do I really want to give everything up for this food?" "Do I really need his?" and, "Am I really hungry enough to eat all of this?" Use your mind to convince your body that you don't need this.

Craving is a neurological signal of requirement. What you crave depends on what your body needs and what it prefers. your body will generally crave calorie dense, high sodium, high fat and high carbohydrate food if it is running low on energy. That's what your body is doing right now.

Try to eat a sugar less gum, or try washing your mouth with toothpaste to help craving.
Let me suggest fasting for 3 days is very unhealthy and puts you at a risk of acute malnurishment and deficiencies. Could you tell why are you fasting...???

Because you want carbs and fat! Put something in your drink like drink mix if you're allowed. You can buy low cal mixes that come in little packets.



Go out and do something like walk or something active to get away from what you crave and get more fit :D
