Question: Is what I've eaten today so far bad? ?
I'm a 15 year old girl, I'm 5'9 & 140 lbs! I'm trying to loose weight but I've been doing alot of snacking lately. Here's what I've had so far today:
Breakfast- Chex Cereal with Skim Milk
Lunch- Sandwhich on 35 calorie bread with lettuce, 1 slice of fat free American cheese, & 2 slices of lunch meat ham & a carrot
Snacks- A tangerine, About 7 Cinnamon grahm cracker sheets, a bowl of plain popcorn, around 20 vanilla waffer cookies
Drinks- 2 glasses of crystal light lemonade & about 4 glasses of 10 calorie hawaiian punch

I know it's not healthy, but is it really that bad? So far for excercise I've walked the treadmill for a half hour (200 calories) and this thing where you pick 10 moves like jumping jacks, sit ups, crunches, etc and you do each for 1 minute. So idk how many calories were burned there but now I'm gonna go for a walk with my sister and do some jump rope. I'm also gonna do a workout tape and maybe more treadmill later. Am I alright? Or is my eating hurting me? Thanks for the help! :)

apart from having popcorn AND cookies AND cinnamon crackers you are ok. just have one of sweet/fatty thing a day.
but generally you are doing well.
personally, i'd suggest that you:

have cereal, fruit juice and a yogurt/portion of fruit for breakfast
sandwich and piece of fruit and a couple of crackers for lunch
and for dinner some meat/starch such as rice or pasta/ fish, with soem veggies.
have one sweet thing a day (eg. 3 biscuits or a normal size single choc bar)
and make sure you drink lots of water. and exercise at least half an hour 3 times a week. I suggest skipping, bike riding and running. good luck xD

You snack, besides the tangerine, and drinks are unhealthy and full of artificial ingredients. Switch to water and put fresh lemon in it. For snacks have some fruits. You also need more veggies. For dinner try a lean chicken breast with steamed veggies or brown rice.



wait, did u mean a real carrot or a baby carrot? because that makes all the difference!

and 7 graham crackers? that's 7 too many, gurrllll....

4 glasses of 10 calorie punch? that's 40 calorieessss!!!

and dude, there's no way u can burn 200 calories walking for 30 minutes. check ur treadmil.
