Trouble pooping, I haven't gone in 5 days?!

Question: Trouble pooping, I haven't gone in 5 days?
I'm a 15 year old girl. I am 5 foot 8.5 and about 110 pounds. I am a vegetarian/vegan. Well, a vegetarian who is allergic to milk. Anyways, I eat regularly and I cannot poop. I last went Tuesday night. I've been eating a lot of things that usually make me go, vegan ice cream, vegan chocolate, vegetables.... Still, nothing. I feel like I really need to go, but I can't!

What can I do? Tomorrow I'm going to try to eat all vegetables and fruits to see if that helps. If It doesn't what will help? I am not able to take any kind of fiber supplement/laxative due to a condition, so don't tell me to do so. Prunes make me throw up, so I can't have those either. Anything else I can do?

Answers:

Are you drinking enough water? You need 8 glasses a day.

You can try drinking Smooth Move Tea, which is available at most grocery stores, and health food stores.

Make sure you're eating plenty of natural fiber. Try lentils, chick peas, and brown rice. More fruit & veggies should help. The tea really works great, though.

Strong green tea will do the trick. Also, try not to eat too much chocolate. Vegetables should help, but some people just don't go as regularly as others, even when they eat right. If you are constipated, that's another story, but if you just don't have the urge to go, then wait two more days and call the doctor if you still haven't gone. And also, you need carbs to push your digestions through..
