Is it Okay To Not Eat Breakfast?!

Question: Is it Okay To Not Eat Breakfast?
I can either have a cup of coffee or a small breakfast otherwise if I have both I feel to full. Now, I'm never hungry in the mornings and when I do eat breakfast I feel sluggish and tired. Also, I need my coffee to feel more awake. So is it okay if I just drink my coffee?

Lately I've been drinking my usual lemon juice and warm water first thing and then a cup of coffee and maybe, about three hours later, I eat my breakfast. Is this okay?

I know breakfast starts your metabolism and provides you energy, but I just have trouble eating breakfast.

Any advice?

Thanks:)

Breakfast doesn't have to be an extravagant meal. I'm not sure why it is hyped up to be, but most people can only stomach so much when they've just woken up and are starting their day.

It's good to eat something that your stomach can handle and that will give you energy. For me, every day, it's a banana and a slice of toast with either coffee or orange juice.

For a long time I would feel bloated or sick after eating in the morning, so I tried to drink only coffee or a soda. It worked for awhile, until it made me feel weak and jittery by noon. Definitely keep your cup of joe but if you can handle just a little something to eat with it too, you will have a bit more energy.

Best of luck!

The greatest dietitians term breakfast as the most important meal of the day . I know even I dont like eating breakfast , But you have to change this habit of taking just a cup of coffee . Eat a few light biscuits , or fruits , along with it . You can also have oatmeal if you like oats .
But remember breakfast gives a kickstart to your day . So do have a proper breakfast !
Take care :)

Coffee is a type of stimulant and uses your body's energy to provide the alertness in you. By lunch you should feel much hungrier than normal since you skipped lunch. Therefore, take some solid foods if coffee is your mainstay for the whole morning.

However, it is completely OK to skip breakfast, as long as you eat something for lunch.

Its all in your head, something or some phase you are going through. Try having a toasted bagel with your morning coffee, preferably with peanut butter and jam on it. After a week or two of that, add a bowl of oatmeal or cold cereal to your breakfast bagel. Your sluggishnees and tiredness should fade with adequate nutrition.
