Is this an okay weight for my age and height?!

Question: Is this an okay weight for my age and height?
I'm sixteen, female, 5'8, and 107 lbs.
Is this an okay weight for me?
I don't play sports, and a few of my friends say I'm too skinny.
I was just wondering if it would be healthy for me to gain weight.
Thanks in advance.

Answers:

Ur underweight on the bmi scale, but at least ur not overweight (: ya it wouldn't hurt if u gained about 10-15 pounds, but don't feel too pressured to do so (:

I have about those same height/weight except I'm 13 and a guy lol

Hey, I saw you had some questions about diet and weight loss. I have been struggling with being overweight for quite some time. Boy there are so many opinions out there that I just got downright confused. I came across a blog post that really helped me with the questions I had been struggling with. While I was there I noticed there were many great post about weight loss and fitness. They also offered some great products one which is working quite well for me. Anyway I thought I would give you the link to the blog post so you could check their resources and see if any of the post there are the right fit for you.

Hope this helps and I hope you find the right answers for you.

Slightly underweight...

Try weight training with light weights and eat more (But healthy)!!!
Although if you're 16 you may naturally put on healthy eight in some time....

I'm gonna turn 18 (6'1, 157.3 lbs). When I was 16 I was 5'10 and weighed 116.6 lbs, which is immensely underweight for a guy...

I started eating more and working out and put on 41 lbs in less than two years (out of which 33 came in less than an year when I started to work out seriously with a proper schedule)

Best of luck

Well...the ideal weight for 5'8 females is around 130. I think it'll be great if you could reach at least 115.
But then again, as long as your healthy, it's fine to stay at the weight you're at.

Trust me you will gain it someday so dont worry about it now enjoy being thin and healthy

luckky ur soo skinyy :)
