Question: Which burns more calories Tredmill or Eliptical?
Which is better?

Answers:

Actually both lose the same amount of calories. Its just that one is high-impact and the other is not.
The treadmill is high-impact because it works your muscles more. This is why you feel your legs and sometimes core burn.... The Elliptical is not high impact, so you often don't feel it working in muscles as much and it feels 'easier'.

Its like biking and running.... biking and running both burn about the same amount of calories but running tires you out a lot quicker.

It depends upon what your goal is. The treadmill is great for muscles(as well as burn calories), but if you already have trouble running a long distance its better to use an elliptical.



It depends on your workout intensity. I try to switch it up myself but I do both treadmill and elliptical pretty intensely. I prefer the eliptical though and like running outside better.

If you think you will work harder on a certain one or enjoy one better than the other, go for that.



treadmill is better because wlaking, joggin, running or swimming are called aerobic exercses and they burn the most calories and fat.



Treadmill burns more calories but it's bad for your joints in the knees in the long run ...
