I need opinions on my weight?!

Question: I need opinions on my weight?
I've always struggled with my weight and my body image.

Anyway, I'm 5 foot 8 and around 124 pounds. Am I overweight? My family keeps badgering me and telling me, "Oh, you could stand to lose some" and it's making me feel... really bad. I work out 5 days a week (yoga, tennis, swimming) and walk a lot on the weekends, and they still want to hire a personal trainer for me.

Could I really stand to lose some? Or is this weight healthy? I just need to know. Thanks.

Answers:

Wow, you work out a lot. Which is BRILLIANT. Don't let what your family says get you down. I think they are just jealous because their not as healthy as you. On the plus side your tall, so im sure you look awesome in anything you wear. Don't mind them, maybe you should tell them how you feel im sure they will understand. But if you still feel unhappy, talk to your doctor, he/she will pit your mind at ease. =)

Hi There

this is a shame that the ones closest to you give you the impression that you "could stand to lose some" the answer is with you

How do you feel about yourself?
have you looked at yourself on a full length mirror and felt ok?

many different people see people in very different ways - if you are happy within yourself with how you look - that's fine and you should ignore them and their opinions

if YOU and i mean YOU feel you WANT (and you really want to be smaller) then take up the offer

I personally don't think that 5ft 8 and 120 - 125 pounds is overweight this is My personal opinion - but it is really how you feel with yourself

I hope that has helped

best regards barry

hello, I had a weight problem for a long time. I used to be a diet product nuts. Until I stumpled upon this website, I was a bit skeptical at first. there was a bit of improvement for the first week, but I felt good. After dropping that initial weight, which was a real confident booster, I started to develop good eating habit so I could continue to keep off the fat. I couldn't believe I didn't try this sooner. What do they want, a skeleton? It is actually borderline underweight for your height. It's your body and your health not your family's.

noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, thats kinda underweight. You are at the perfect place!! Dont give up your spot:)
