Answers:

its a known fact that running burns more calories then any other sport or exercise...as for how long well as long as you can three to four times a week...as your fitness increase more so...this all depends on your fitness level now and how fit u r..so it varies



Cycling for more than an hour - hard cycling. You would be better off to walk several miles a day and cut back on calories and get rid of junk food in the diet all together, they are empty calories.
