Too much protein????????? please reeead?!

Question: Too much protein????????? please reeead?
I'm a 15 year old girl, i'm 5'1 and weigh around 94lbs (88lbs in the morning)
I like to eat healthy and workout. so that's probably why I'm thin.. I can't gain weight.. I want to gain healthy muscle weight.. I eat a lot of protein but I'm wondering if it's too much.. I'll list all the high protein foods I eat in a day

1 cup of skim milk (8g) mixed with Aria Protein powder for women (14g) (After I workout)

then for lunch I'll have about 3 oz of shredded chicken (19-23g?) on my whole grain Ezechiel bread (8g)

Then for a snack I'll have 6oz (3/4 cup) plain nonfat Greek yogurt (18g)

another snack i'll have 2 egg whites (6g?)

for dinner I'll have 3 oz of lean ground turkey (20-23g?) with 1/2 of beans (6-8g)

then dessert I have 1/2 cup of 1% cottage cheese (14g)

Is this waay to much protein for a tiny girl? I wanna gain muscle weight. But I don't wanna put my body in risk for kidney stones or any other things..I do drink 8 glasses of water a day..

BTW this is not all I eat. I have plenty of fruits, veggies, whole grains and healthy fats a long with this, I was just listing my proteins

Well, at least you dont have anorexia like half the girls your age, so you are on a good track already! It depends on your workout. If you are just walking daily i dont think you need that much. But if you are weight
lifting and doing cardio then that should be a right amount for you!

Seams ok to me ^.^ maybe your work out is poor? try the 5x5 workout and see how that helps your muscles. do 5 sets of 5 reps of a challenging weight you can only deem what is gonna be challenging. just make sure you struggling to lift the weight on 3-4 reps and complete the 5th and have longer rests between the sets

you are roughly getting about 98g a day not counting your fruit. normally it is 1 pound per bodyweight for a person that works out. be careful with the amount you take in because your kidneys are under stress. to much protein has known to shut the kidneys down

You can never eat too much protein......

The protein seems fine...How are you working out? Just lift weights to gain muscle (no treadmill etc.).

Honestly I don't think you need to work out and count calories or pay that much attention to portions if you are thin and eat healthily. Your body needs to get enough overall calories before it can build muscle (for you it sounds like at least 2500 calories a day, if your metabolism is high and you also work out). You don't want to develop an eating disorder, and restricting calories and working out a lot can be a form of one. Just play a sport you like instead of formally working out, and continue eating good foods. Don't feel like you can never "splurge" and be bad once in a while, though!
