What's the best thing to eat in the morning before working out?!

Question: What's the best thing to eat in the morning before working out?
I'm on a low carb diet
I wake up at 5:30am and head to the gym at around 6:30am and don't have time to make breakfast.
Is a cup of black coffee and a protein bar enough before working out?
Any suggestions on something quick and low carb?

Answers:

Well eggs is the best thing to eat for breakfast as it helps you manage your hunger for the day but unfortunately it isn't a quick breakfast.

Exercising first thing in the morning before breakfast has some good benefits, especially for a low carb diet.

When you wake up, your blood glucose is lower, so doing an intense exercise will burn through the stored glucose fast and go straight to burning fat. After the workout, eat carbs.. no more than 20-30grams with alot of protein.

Most protein bars have a TREMENDOUS amount of Carbs. Read the back.

Protein powder drink.

Or two raw eggs whipped and mixed in some type of liquid.

Boil you some eggs the night before and gobble them down on the way to the gym.

Naked juice drinks 150 calories ands gives you like ten fruits. Supper healthy nothing add and tastes great. Price is hight though around 3 dollars each

Have a banana-it's filling and prevents cramps. I would eat the protein bar after your workout.
