How Can I Stop Binging?!


Question: How Can I Stop Binging?
I have a bad binging habbit.

Some times I think "I'll start eating well tomorrow, but today I can eat ANYTHING"

Actually that's everyday. I'm 14, and homeschooled, so I'm at home all day and I have a lot of time on my hands, can some one please give me some motivation to stop and loose all this 50 pounds I have put on the past 6 months? I used to weigh 105 pounds, I weigh 155 now, I have no cloths that fit me and I need help! Please!!

Anything, being mean, hurting, telling me to stop is appriciated, no one tells me it's wrong so now I guess I have a mindset of it being right. I'm so fat now, I need HELP!

i actually went through a binge session, but ive stopped now!! i KNOW its hard but ill make it easier for you!!

first off- ask yourself-- are you REALLY hungry? do you really want that chocolate bar? think of every chocolate bar as another layr of fat. ou dont REALLY want another layer of fat??

start out SMALL though. start by replacing chips with veggies chips and popcorn, ice cream with frozen yogurt, chocolate with dark chocoate. these will limit MANY MANY calories per day.

next off, start by eating a big filling low-sugar breakfast. try something like-- a cup of part skim milk, a couple of slices of toast with, cream cheese? maybe some low fat butter replacement?
whatever you like-- try to make the butter replacement salted-- you wont crave sugar that way!!!

next try eating more fruits and veggies. if you REALL REALLY want the candy, you have to, HAVE to eat veggies and water before. try drinking a cup of water, and eat 2-4 sticks of celery. then go brush your teeth. then ask yourslef-- you wen through everything-- and after that- do you really want that candy??

then take a diary, a wright down EVERYTHING you eat. wright down, heres a good example:

breakfast- 1 banana, 1 cup of milk and a bowl of plain cheerios-- healthy
lunch- turkey sandwhich and some veggie sticks-- healthy
snack- an apple and some penut buter- healthy
dinner- chicken breast with some steamed veggies and rice- healthy
snack- a bowl of cereal with 1 TSP of sugar- OK-healhy :)

if you eat pringels or something, wright it down and mark UNHEALTHY. this should make you feel a bit worse, and tomorrow, when you reach for the pringels, youll rember how bad you felt after eating them the day before.

if all else fails ask your mother to throw out all the junk food in the house.

As you have said, you have alo of time in your hands. So you can start your morning with a 30 minute walk. Then have breakfast, diet is not about starving, its about choosing what you will eat. The amount of calorie intake depends on the level of your activeness.
Eat regularly and exercise regularly.

Whenever you feel like eating during the day,but its not time for your meals, walk on place or do some simple stretching, then drink water afterwards.

And don't forget to have 10 hours of sleep at night, it burns calories too.



Get help. Binging is usually a physical symptom of a psychological problem. Do not be ashamed or embarrassed. Tell the truth, no matter how much you fear the consequences. hi, I had a diet problem that it seemed hopeless. I tried a ton of stuff but nothing worked. Until a friend suggested this method, I was skeptical at first. Firstly, eat tons of veggies and fruit. They take longer to digest and fill your stomach more than junk food. That way when you want to binge on crap you wont be able to eat much.
Secondly, if you have time on your hands why not go get some exercise & burn off the excess calories instead of avoiding them.

The only way to stop binging is to stop. Theres no science or tricks behind it. You need to tell youself no. How about everytime you feel the need to binge or have the thoughts to eat, go exercise. I used to have a small binging problem when i was younger but I figured out that if i exercised for 20 minutes and still wanted to eat something I would. And then I would eat something healthy. Make sure that what you do eat is healthy. And please please don't starve yourself because you're afraid or embarrased of your weight. You need to eat to lose weight. Eat healthy well balanced meals and diet. There are no tricks.



Honey calm down, breath okay I will help you. I will tell you right now throw away all your junk food. throw away your pop. I will tell you what I did I threw all the junk food in a big bag and I threw everything that's unheathley away. Okay now no juice,pop,icetea etc only water. Mabey green tea at night befor bed. Buy skim milk if you want you can buy soy milk but I can't drink that stuff. Okay now you need to exersize alot. Situps are the best.you can run walk a dog ,pushups, any thing you can sign up for yoga or ask your mom or dad to join a gym.do 50situps or more morning afternoon and befor bed .
1.for breackfast no sugur cereal
you can have

.egg white wheat tost yougurt and fruit

.speacil k cereal and yogurt

.big bowl of fruit

lunch vegge and chiken

Or vegge soup and a wheat turkey sand witch

dinner something small like a salad with vegge and ckicken

you can have 2 snacks

protein shake

fruit of your choose watermeoln my fav.
