Question: Weighing in for something and need to way a few pounds less.?
PLEASE READ, DONT JUST SKIM through. I have been working out and eating healthier. I have only lost one pound in two weeks. I need to have lost more weight and I am weighing in for something tomorrow where my weight needs to be lower. What can I do to make me a few pounds less on the scale in one day. Ive heard of taking some sort of plant to loose water weight?

I just want to do this one time this isn't a permanent diet and I know I won't look skinnier.

Answers:

-Don't eat after 6:30PM. Do not eat or be still eating by that time. It really helps, suprised me at first ^^
-Also, it seems weird, but try to drink a lot of water right now, a lot in one or two or three sittings at a time (6 glasses each time). At first you will be heavier, but the next day or by whenever you have peed it out, you will be lighter. Begin this sometime in the late afternoon. Try to drink 6 glasses once, then after you have peed that out, drink another 6 glasses. Than drink another 4 glasses right before bed. Hopefully, you can hold it while you sleep, and then when you pee it out in the morning, you will probably be lighter (from experience) or otherwise, the same. I suggest trying this and see if it works for you.
-Skipping breakfast doesn't cause people to lose weight...skipping DINNER does in my experience, or at least eating it early and go hungry for the rest of the evening and sleep
-Do NOT, repeat do NOT, eat any salty or sweet foods, or meat, nuts, or dairy, or simple carb /quick grains (pasta, white rice, bread, etc. -not ever)...eat something like a baked potato for dinner, oats made with water, or some vegetables, and fruits (same for in previous meals). Eat other grains (more oats or cereal) only in the morning. Eating meat and dairy is best to almost completely stay away from if you are trying to drop lbs the best you can.
Again, since this is not a balanced diet, only do this to lose weight in a short time. But it seriously makes the weight drop off for me, and sometimes it is even hard to put back on if you eat like this for a while

Calm down, drink a lot of water, take a run, more water, hot shower, more water then go to bed. All after eating dinner of course.



You may be thinking of dandelion root, it is a diuretic and helps you lose water weight. Also asparagus.
