i have a breakfast question?!


Question: I have a breakfast question?
In the morning i eat a bowl of captain crunch (the one with berries). I was wondering if this was healthy or unhealthy.... Also how much of it should i eat. Some people say 1 cup some say 2 cups...??? Please Help

any cereal that contains sugar as it's first or second ingredient is bad for a breakfast. You should haver a high-fibre and nutritious breakfast that wil give you energy thorughout the day. You shoudl eat cereals like all-bran, bran cereals, or cereals that have at least 5 g of fibre or more. Those fill you up and give you energy to start your day. Also, you can eat 2 cups of cereal with milk in the morning. No more than that. Also, breakfast doesn't have to be cereal, it can be french toast, chicken salad, egg sandwich, etc.!



Any kind of sugar cereal like this is very unhealthy. In terms of being more healthy while eating this, keep in mind that one cup is definitely a healthier serving than a whole bowl! Although we all like to fill up a bowl (or two like my boyfriend) it is very unhealthy to eat a sugary breakfast, mostly because you definitely need some protein to help absorb the sugar . Milk has protein in it but you're better off eating eggs or even better, an egg white omelet. If you are very attached to cereal, it'll stink at first but try healthier options. I LOVE plain Cheerios with fresh blueberries mixed in. Yum I want to go get some now! If you need a little more pep to your cereal, try Special K or granola.



that is EXTREMELY UNHEALTHY... the amount of sugar is obsurd... its actually illegal for captain crunch and other cereals to advertise on television because of the sugar content in those cereals (notice u havent seen a capn crunch commercial in a long time) now i must say that the capn was my favorite cereal (especially the peanutbutter variety) but i dont eat that anymore realizing the horrible reality that it is undeniable JUNK FOOD... and so is EVERY OTHER BREAKFAST CEREAL.

for a healthy breakfast i suggest oatmeal, eggs, or pancakes... SUGAR is what kills

i eat until i dont want any more. it all depends on you. do you gain weight easily? if not, you're like me and you can eat more.



2 cups - you can eat as much as you want on a morning and burn it off through the day.
