Question: What is this massive bruise? could i have a deficiency in something? help!:(?
so i am 15 years old and i am a vegetarian, i also get really dizzy every day, but i don't usually faint, maybe once every few weeks and it's never anything full on. anyway, i have this huge bruise on the inside of my thigh a darkish purple colour with yellowy/green around the edge. anyway i was wondering if i could have some sort of blood issue like a deficiency in something cos i don't know how i got the bruise and it has been changing to a darker colour and it has gotten a bit bigger it just doesn't look like a normal bruise. i also have another big bruise on my knee (same leg) which i don't know the cause of, but that doesn't look as bad as this one. this one is about the size of a small egg maybe? a bit smaller, but yeah that's the shape. it might be nothing, but i do get dizzy. thanks guys. oh and sorry i wasn't sure what category to post this in.

bruising is a break in the capillaries under the skin and the blood makes your bruise the color it is it is mild internal bleeding,. if you have been parting a lot lately that might explain unexpected bruises, but it can also mean you need more vitamins and minerals in your diet especially calcium for Coagulation, that is how your body repairs internal bleeding and being a veggie you have poor calcium in your diet it can effect many areas of the body especially blood clotting get your iron calcium dietary fiber in your diet and you should be fine if you notice any bumps or lumps seek medical advise asap ice it lightly massage it and elevate .....on a heavier note ... wiki states, Bruising present around the navel (belly button) with severe abdominal pain suggests acute pancreatitis.Further bleeding and excess fluid may accumulate causing a hard, fluctuating lump or swelling hematoma. This has the potential to cause compartment syndrome as the swelling cuts off blood flow to the tissues. The trauma that induced the bruise may also have caused other severe and potentially fatal harm to internal organs.
