Lemon water diet, does it work?!

Question: Lemon water diet, does it work?
Does the lemon diet really work? I know that along with it I would have to eat healthy and exercise. But does it actually work and are there any side effects?
I'm obese and I'm looking for something to aid me in my weight loss :(

Recipe
2 tbs. fresh squeezed lemon juice
2 tbs. organic natural maple syrup
1/10 tsp. cayenne pepper
10 ounces of water

Answers:

It is just starvation, thats all - you end up only having about 400 calories a day, theres nothing special about the ingrediants, they are just there as a type of fuel to stop it getting REALLY bad. Maple syrup is high GI (sugar/quick energy) which stops you feeling low/brain dead, lemon is vitamin C to maintain digestion and the pepper is pointless.

Water is so important, normally carbohydrates can ensure you are moderatley hydrated, you still need water, but when you are starving, water is even more important.

There are no specific foods that make you loose weight - its just bulls*** - it is quite simply starvation for idiots. Sure you will loose weight, but when you eat again the weight comes back. That is how adaption works...

I don't think so... I know a few people who have tried it and had suffered from a reeeallyy bad stomach ache..

You can try exercising everyday though, and balancing your diet :) Don't try the lemon diet! I hope my answer helped :)
