Question: How many days do i not eat to loose 8ish pounds?
Im 17, 5'4 134. Im going on vacation soon so i wanna look good in a swim suit. Or how long does it take to where your body eats the fat? Ik first its water weight.. Dont even tell me its unhealthy blah blah whatever. Im already on day 2. So for real. Please answer accordingly: youll loose_.

Your body won't eat the fat...it will eat the muscle to keep you alive (that includes your heart).

Your only a kid so I'm going to tell you anyways: that is very unhealthy and damaging to your body. You have a lot to learn about life, health, and nutrition and the only person who loses in this situation is you.

I'm sure you already look great in a swimsuit as you are in the perfect weight range for your height. Embrace your body for the things it allows you to do everyday and don't waste your life defining yourself or your worth by a number.



You will actually gain weight. When you deprive your body of nutrition it does not function like normal. So when you aren't eating it will not burn the large amount of calories that is normally would if you were eating. Your blood sugar is also extremely low when not eating, there for even if you do starve yourself long enough to lose a little bit of weight, your body is going to go into storage mode when you do start eating again. Meaning your blood sugar will then spike causing your body to convert all sugars, carbs, and proteins to fat, causing you to gain more weight than was lost. I'm not telling you this because the unhealthy part of it (which it is) but I am telling you this because it is extremely inefficient. Eat, just do it healthy. Keep track of what you eat, keep track of your calories burned. There are 3,500 calories in 1 lb.

If you stop eating completely your body will go into starvation mode and try to prevent you from losing weight, only releasing small amounts and attempting to be frugal with the minimal resources you are giving it. When you come back from your holiday you will put all of the weight back on and then some more because your body wants to prepare itself in case there is another starve.
I would recommend cutting your meal portions in half instead. This will keep your energy up so that you can still exercise and continue your normal life whilst also losing weight rapidly. It is never a good idea to stop eating totally, for many reasons.

ps. I have tried the fasting-diet... it doesnt work (for me) you get tired and in a bad mood, and if you not extemely disaplined you will have binge attacks and eat your whole fridge! Haha....

I wouldn't recommend not eating because when you don't eat your body stores fat so instead of losing it you'll pile it on. if you really want to lose weight i recommend that you find out your guide line daily amounts, follow them and then exercise for 1 hour a day. if you do this you'll lose approx 2 pounds a week so you're looking at 4 - 8 weeks before you lose the whole 8 pounds. good luck xxx

I lost 8lbs in 1 week, by eating ONLY 500 calories a day and doing loads of exercise (mainly swimming, due to not eating alot i had no energy so swimming was easiest lol)

500 calories isnt alot, but if u choose what u eat u can actualy eat alot and it doesnt feel like a diet!
Cherry tomatos are gr8 4 snacking, as a whole box is only 54 cals!!
Weight watchers chicken noodle soup - whole tin is only 55 cals!
chicken breast and stir fry veg is only around 150 cals

3500 calories in a pound... 3500 x 8 = 28000
If you burn roughly 2000 a day then 14 days, or 2 weeks.



You still need to eat something. I lost a lot of weight by just turning down all the meat and ate veggies.



You'll lose pretty quick, but you'll slow your metabolism down and gain it all back.



Why not just scoop out your brain? You're clearly not losing it and it probably weighs a good 3 or 4 pounds.



But seven or six pounds would be the max in a couple of days hoped I helped oh! And stay hidrated.
