Do you think my body has gone into starvation mode?!

Question: Do you think my body has gone into starvation mode?
I started a diet two weeks ago. I've already lost over a stone. I usually have 30 grams of Special K with skimmed milk for breakfast, an apple with a cup of water for lunch and chicken breast or lean red meat with vegetables for dinner. I also exercise for at least 2 hours a day. I'm constantly hungry, yet it doesn't seem to bother me anymore. It's as if my body has got used to feeling hungry. Sometimes I don't even feel like eating anything. Has my body gone into starvation mode?

Answers:

Probably. Your metabolism has probably slowed down a bit. Your dinner is a winner with a lean meat with veggies, something I always encourage. You are getting the majority of your carbs for breakfast, which is good but one apple and water for lunch just isn't enough. You mentioned you workout for 2 hours a day but me thinks with a better diet, you could cut that in half but increase the intensity of your workouts from the extra energy from eating a bit more.

You're probably consuming under 1,000 calories am I right? You'll slowly waste away any muscle which isn't ideal b/c actually muscle helps burn more fat at rest.

I would at least up the calories to 1200 minimum but not sure if you'll listen. Granted i'm a male but I have over 2,000 calories per day and eat every 2-4 hours and I have single digit body fat plus I only workout about 1 hour 15 min tops during my session and it's not everyday.

i dunno but i'd stop that diet pretty quickly.
eat more and for a while it will feel like your bloated constantly but your body will get used to it whilst. also if you want to do that amount of exercise you need lots of food to keep up your energy levels otherwise you'll feel faint and your health will decrease.

You passed a kidney stone?
