14 year old girl with weight problems!!?!

Question: 14 year old girl with weight problems!!?
I am a 14 year old girl who is 5'7" and I weigh a whopping 124 pounds ): !!! I am really upset and for the past few days I have been eating ice cream cake and fatty foods like meat loaf, pasta, and chicken with the skin on it. So yesterday and today I had 300 calories, which I know is probably unhealthy because I normally eat 1200. But now I just had more cake and pudding and popcorn adding about 500 calories to my meal because I got hungry and stupid. How can I get rid of these calories and make sure I do not binge tomorrow?

Thanks for anyone who cares to help.

Answers:

First, at your height and weight, I would imagine that you are what I call a "full girl," which is a girl that isn't skinny nor over weight. As to getting rid of the calories, the answer in exercise. Also, the only one who can stop you from binging is yourself, although eating a peanut butter and jelly-sandwich helps, because the peanut butter is filling.

First of all, you are at the edge of being underweight, so there is nothing wrong with your weight at this time. The reason you are doing this is because you are hungry. Going from 1200 calories to 300 is of course going to make you hungry and you will eat anything and everything in sight. For you, I suggest you get back to that eating of 1200 calories a day and make sure it is healthy foods. Feel free to have cake and ice cream on occasion, but don't starve yourself.

You are not overweight! I'm 18, 5'7'', 135 pounds and I have been 135 pounds since I was 12. I am an athlete (basketball,) work out twice a week, and eat about 2000 calories a day. Check your BMI, it's perfectly normal! Plus you shouldn't restrict your calories as you're still growing and your body needs carbs, protein, and yes even fat! Just make sure you eat healthy (lots of fruits and veggies, no fad diets) and you will be fine :)

LOL "5'7" and I weigh a whopping 124 pounds"
Well it's important to have a healthy diet but I'm afraid you are overweight at all.

I saw your other answer, and you clearly have anorexia. 500 calories is not a binge, considering you aren't even eating enough in general. You are going to get rid of the calories naturally, as your body burns at least 1,200 calories a day on it's own, even if you sleep the whole day. So, you do not need to do anything special to get rid of the calories, because they will be gone by the time you go to bed tonight, due to your bodies natural functions. As for making sure you don't binge (which you didn't today, just so you know), try chewing gum. It's honestly a miracle worker at keeping you from bingeing if you get really hungry. If I were you, I would seek some help from someone because 124 pounds IS NOT FAT AT ALL for someone who is 5'7". However, if you don't want to recover from your eating disorder, there is nothing anyone can do for you. In order to recover, you have to WANT to recover and WANT to get better. I know I may sound like I am lecturing you, but I just don't like seeing people get hurt because of eating disorders.
