Is it better to workout morning or night?!


Question: Is it better to workout morning or night?
I would either have to work out at 3:30 am to 5:00 am (before work) or 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm (after work) which would be better?

Answers:

before is better, but that is pretty early to be up. You would have to make sure you got to bed early enough to get your 8 hours of sleep. Sleep is very important when trying to be/stay fit as well. So if you can't get to bed by like 7:30pm (yikes!) you might be better off doing it after.



Depends on you. If you like to get up early and work out then do that. If you feel more motivated to workout at night then do that. Perhaps try morning one week and evening another and see what is best. Lots of people and programs will say to workout in the morning before you eat to help you burn fat, but if you don't two hours before your evening workout you get the same result. Again, it is a personal choice.



Before would be better. It would put you in a good mood for the rest of your day. 5:30 to 7:00 is not that bad either but you will get energized for the end of the day. If you go to sleep at 9-10 (since you wake up at 5:00-6:00, 7:00 would be stretching it a bit and you will have difficulties falling asleep.
