I'm getting the Zumba DVDs... Can I have tips from those who have them on w!

Question: I'm getting the Zumba DVDs... Can I have tips from those who have them on ways to lose weight faster?
I ordered them yesterday so I should get them by next week...

I am a mom of a 1 year old so I don't have much time to go out to exercise... So I hope this zumba dance helps me!!
What are some good ways to lose weight fast dancing zumba?
I am thinking on doing it atleast 5 times a week for 1 hour a day.. Is this good?

I started eating better a couple of months ago but I don't see much results because I don't exercise.... Will zumba be enough exercise for me?

Answers:

I have the Zumba Total Transformation DVD set and I work out 5-6 times a week (usually 6, unless something unforeseen comes up that interferes with my workout that day). I follow the 10 day program which alternates between Cardio Party and Sculpt and Tone along with the Flat Abs workout. One the 10th day of the program you do the Zumba Fitness Live workout. Rather than two rest days, I add in an extra toning day. I usually just take off on Friday, because that's my grocery shopping day. DO NOT cancel your order. Zumba is fun to exercise with. And yes, it will be enough exercise. I have been doing Zumba since January 11 or 12. I have lost 15 pounds and more importantly I have lost inches all over. Jeans that I could not even pull up over my thighs are now loose on me. I weigh 5 pounds less than I have in years.

When I started Zumba, first I did the beginner's one week program. That will teach you all the moves (and work up quite a sweat while learning) and includes a three days of the Zumba express 20 minute workout which will give you a good idea of how the Zumba cardio workouts go. Don't focus on "1 hour a day", just focus on each workout.

I do not regret getting Zumba, because it's the only workout program I have tried that has kept me interested enough to keep doing it. And with the results I see (thinner thighs yay!!!) I am sure I will never stop doing Zumba.

Lose It Today, Keep It Off Tomorrow
Finally, be patient. While cultivating that virtue isn't exactly painless, it may help to know that keeping weight off generally gets easier over time.

That's the result of a study published in Obesity Research, where researchers found that for people who had lost at least 30 pounds -- and kept it off for at least two years -- maintaining that weight loss required less effort as time went on.

Share and Share Alike
With the massive meals served at so many American restaurants, it's easy to go Dutch -- with the dinner plate.

"When we go out, I often share a meal with my wife," Anthony tells WebMD. "We've been known to split a dessert, even a pint of beer. That way, we don't feel stuffed, and we save some money."

You can share more than just a meal out. Why not double up on a bicycle built for two? Go halves on the cost of a personal trainer? Maybe split a gym membership?

"When you're trying to eat better or get more exercise, you can be more successful if you do it with a partner or group," says Grotto. "The community, the partnership, whether online or in person, it really helps.

I know a program much better, so i recommend you look into this one, and if your interested, cancel your Zumba order. Its called P90X. Basically, its an intense set of workout videos that combine a nutritional diet with powerful workouts. Its a 90 day program, and its one hour a day. You are responsible for the diet though if you want the full effect. It gives you a cookbook, as well as meal plans so you can plan your day ahead. Ill tell you the truth right now when i say its VERY intense at the beginning. You may not even to finish the first hour of it in the beginning. I just started and i only did 45 minutes (and im skinny!) Depending on how dedicated you are, you can easily achieve either a 6 pack or a dramatic weight loss. Its not like other programs where you regain all the pounds back after the diet once you reach your goal. I know this because its alot more work than many diets. You are responsible for breakfast, snacks (2-3 of them a day), lunch, and dinner, as well as plenty of water. Im actually going to leave in a few minutes to do it again. it costs about 120 dollars, not including protien shakes or recovery drinks. Im not drinking that stuff just because the program itself is already too expensive. Hope this helped

try looking up "p90x before and after" on youtube to see how monumental the results are.
