Which diet works best with exercise?!

Question: Which diet works best with exercise?
Low carb?low calorie?or low fat?
Or other diet ideas

I plan to run atleast 2miles daily along with this diet.
Any suggestions? :)

Answers:

Most of the available diets are ok for exercise. Scientific studies have shown positive results for most of the common diets at the professional, Olympic, and recrational levels. Atkins, Zone, Mediterranean, and others are all worth a try. You should try different diets and go with the one that works for you.

Most professional dieticians recommend a low-fat, high-fiber diet for general health. Start off with plenty of whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables, beans, nuts, and legumes (lentils, peas), about 50-60% of your total calories. Use lean meats, fish, poultry, and dairy sparingly, about 20-25% of your total calories. Fats and sweets should be no more than 20% of your total calories. And, I make sure to reward myself once in a while with a juicy steak or hamburger and chili fries. Just use moderation. I have used this diet for years with great results. But, just because it works for me doesn't mean it will work for you. Be flexible, and try different things until you find what's right for you. Results are what really counts. As long as something works for you, who cares what anyone else is doing?

Limit processed foods as much as possible. For example, use fresh meats, vegetables, and barley to make your own soup instead of using canned soup. Make your own chicken pot pies instead of buying the frozen ones. Look at the ingredients on the labels, you'll be amazed at the amount of chemicals used in canned, boxed, and frozen foods.

I typically run about 3-5 miles 5 days a week. I have found a high protein, medium carb diet to work the best for staying quite fit. I usually drink protein shakes after a morning run with a handful of greens, (brocolli, cucumbers, etc.) After eating that most mornings, I drink only water throughout the day. As for lunch and supper, I eat the typical family meals anyone would eat. I just dont over do it and go back for more after one serving. But the biggest secret of all which has me in great shape right now is getting more sleep. I'm now sleeping about 10 hours a night where as I used to get about 7 hours. As for the protein shakes, alot of girls ask me if the shakes will put bulk on them they don't want. I am a 6 foot, 170 pound guy (not big at all), and I drink a lot of protein shakes. I think running or other excercise, sleep, and water intake are about 70 percent of what kind of shape you will be in, and 30 percent is what kind of foods you take in. You can eat almost anything you want for meals, as long as you dont over indulge. Hope I helped! Cya!

Almased worked really well for me with no exercise so if you add the exercise you will see progress really fast:

The lowest price I could find at the time I took it was here but you could look around other websites:

Plenty of protein and fruits and veges and some carbos. Some people can eat more carbos than others. I can hardly lose weight at all unless I cut out all carbos, but due to a blood sugar problem I need carbos.

Your decision is a scientific and reasonable. I support you, come on

no food at all diet
