What sodas are the worse for you?!

Question: What sodas are the worse for you?
My fiance had gallbladder surgery back in January and I'm worried about his soda intake. He's cut down, because he knows soda and the foods he was eating were what lead to the large gallstones. I know how I sound, but I truly am just concerned and don't want to be a pest about his favorite soda, which he believes is fine(Mountain Dew Voltage).

I can't find anything that talks about how bad sodas are overall, mostly it's just about which ones are bad for you teeth. Please, help me out so I will stop nagging my fiance about not drinking soda so much.

Answers:

mt dew, despite it being my favorite as well, is quite possibly one of the worsts...ive known several people that have gotten urinary infections from it as well as other issues....i cant say its the worst tho. If hes drinking it in moderation, he should have no issues, but if your that concerned then try to get him to start drinking the flavored carbonated waters...alot of people are hooked on soda for the carbonation alone...so it might help.

I kind of want to say they are all probably equally bad for you, since they are all basically the same thing with different "flavorings" added. The ones without caffeine might be easier on the gallbladder, but the sugar probably doesn't help either. I'm thinking Mt. Dew is probably one of the worst sodas you could drink as far as sugar and caffeine and artificial ingredients.

Personally I drink soda, but I have tried to cut back considerably in the last year or so. They just aren't good for you. It's hard to give up though! My mother-in-law buys club soda, and then adds these stevia flavorings that you can buy from health food stores in different flavors like root beer and cherry, so that might be something you could try.

All of them are bad, which is why my fiance and i only drink water now.Much tastier and healthier.

I know coke is the worst out of all of them.
