Question: I've only eaten 800 calories today, why am I up 6 pounds?
What I’ve eaten today.

I had some bites of Apple Jack’s cereal.
1 can of Campbell’s chicken noodle soup with a couple crackers.
2 crab cakes.
2 pieces of breaded shrimp.
A slice of Italian bread.
Almost 2 bottles of water.

I’m up 6 pounds for some reason! It’s crazy! Why is this? I also went to bed really hungry last night. Is any of this weight permanent? That’s only 800 calories total.

Your true weight is in the morning so no it's not true



Because all you named are carbohydrates which raise blood sugar and are stored as fat. Also people who eat a lot of starchy food and carbs retain a lot of water. I suggest you cut the carbohydrates to loose weight, up the fat and protein.


WHEN YOU EAT CARBOHYDRATES (carbs), your body releases insulin into your blood stream. The insulin tells your cells what to do. It tells most cells to absorb the sugar out of the blood and tells your fat cells not to release any fat to burn (because there are carbs already in the blood to burn.

Forget about bread, potatoes, rice, sweets, cookies, sugar etc. If you want to loose weight quickly, you need to go on low carbohydrate diet. Check it out-there is lots of topics on the web. And low carb works! My mum lost 6 stone in 8 months...

take all your clothes off when you weight yourself, make sure you've gone to the bathroom, the best time to way yourself is when you wake up in the morning, there are literally too many factors. Maybe your scale is messed up? Constantly eat small snacks to continue your metabolism or else your body assumes food is scarce and will burn calories more slowly, making it harder to lose weight.



its because if u eat 2 little then your body converts everything into fat and stores it so...just eat ur average calory intake an u shud be fine

uhm wen u dont eat breasfast u gain weaight. and u need to have atleast 1500 calories in a day otherwise its bad for u!
