Power walking for 20 mins twice a day is this too little or too much?!

Question: Power walking for 20 mins twice a day is this too little or too much?
I've been getting up early before work and power walking/ jogging for 20 mins a morning and then again before I go to bed the same amount of time.
I don't feel tired, I feel pretty good actually, but I was curious, is this too little or too much? I don't want to accidentally eat too little and work out too much and put my body into hibernation mode (I'm five-eight and 145 lbs) I'm not really over weight I just want to feel healthy and be nice and toned.
I'm trying to form habits that will keep me healthy before I have children so they can see the benefits of eating well and taking good care of yourself. Any advice would be wonderful!

Answers:

Youre on the right track. If you work our hard enough, meaning you will have heavy breathing. You can easily not eat because your body will not go into hypernation cause your metabolism will be off the charts so the body cant afford to store fats. But doing that will make you little more tired, so still eat good and take it slow. Any exercise is good, doing nothing gets you fat, trust me I know :)
Good luck!

That actually is very good exercise! Keep it up!

a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.in the light of your preference,walking/jogging for 20 minutes is meet and right as long as you think fit while going too far would just guild the lily.
in the context of the urban lifestyle, aerobic requirement of jogging/walking is the jewel in the crown, which is the mainstay of an aging body to keep alive and kicking.to intensfy the use of oxygen, putting your best foot foward or forcing the pace when jogging is an alternative option.according to some researches, people who run 3.5 hours weekly have their lifespan 5 years longer;people who don't run but rather walk run rings round people who neither run nor walk.i posit that the habit is nifty for you and childrens for keeps.
