How can I eat more calories to gain healthy weight?!


Question: How can I eat more calories to gain healthy weight?
I have been trying to eat 2600-3000 calories a day and it seems impossible. Right now I need about 700 more cals and it is almost 9 at night! what i can i eat that is high in cals and I won't get full too fast. Also, what can I snack on during the day to make it easier to eat more overall calories?

- Full fat evaporated/ powdered milks
- Dried fruits, fruit juices, canned fruits in syrup, mango's, banana, articokes, avacado's, potato's/ yams, steamed vegetables in olive oil, frozen vegetable mixes in cream/ cheese/ butter sauce's, full fat salad dressings, etc
- Nuts/ seeds/ natural peanut butter/ Nutella spread and 70% dark caoca chocolate
- Thick cut wholegrain breads and wholewheat/ wholegrain: bagels/ wraps/ pitas/ buns
- Wholewheat pastas, couscous, quinoa, brown- long grain rice, barley, etc
- Granola
- Nature Valley Granola Bar's, Clif Bar's, Lara Bar's and chocolate bars (eg: Mar's/ Snickers)
- Icecream/ cookies/ cake/ pudding's/ muffins/ scones/ brownies and other dessert based food's
- Fast food's
- Baked beans/ beans/ chili
- Hummus/ chickpeas
- Lentils
- Egg's
- Tofu/ soy
- Breaded/ battered meat's (eg: red meat's, porks, chicken/ poltry, fish/ seafood's)
- Canned tuna's and red meat's



That's way too many calories even if your trying to gain weight. Depending on your height and current weight, if your a boy or a girl, your age determines how many calories you should eat daily. To gain weight you can eat higher fat foods and be lazy. That's how you will gain weight. Please dont forget your fruits and veggies even though your tryin to gain.



Eggs and Steak.

A lot of nuts.

Whole Milk does wonders, especially if you mix it with Muscle Milk (instant 300-400 calories in one glass).

If all else fails, Big Macs and fries and shake.
