Question: Am I overweight? How can I become healthier?
I'm a girl, I am 5'4 and weigh about 140 pounds. I don't really look fat (I have curves) but I have a lot of it packed into my thighs and waist area. I'm just naturally thick. Is this considered overweight or fat? I feel insecure and also I want to eat healthier and smaller portions. This is hard for me because I'm always hungry and don't become full easily. All I want is to be healthy, look healthy, and feel good. Help please.

your weight is still in the healthy weight range according to BMI. I don't think you're overweight, however, if you THINK you are, maybe it's just how your body structure is eg. slender, heavy bone structure

when eating dinner, only eat til ur 70% full. don't eat until 30 minutes AFTER exercise. it's gd if u can exercise once a wk. eat wholegrain instead of white bread. drink plenty of water as it helps with your metabolism.



Just start off slow with the eating smaller portions and healthy foods. Eventually your stomach will shrink up a bit when you do so you'll get used to it and feel full faster without eating more. And yeah just exercise regularly and you should be good. Just gotta give it some time and it'll work out. I'm like so glad you didn't say diet to get skinnier. I think that's a good weight and curvy is always better.



The most reliable indicator of is the Body Mass Index (BMI). Calculate your BMI and decide for yourself.
Eating is one part of staying healthy; you should get at least 30 min of proper exercise a day; do whatever suits you. Exercise and diet together will work to keep you healthy.

The thing is DONT eat until you are full, eat a good amount or less than what you regularly eat, eventually your body will get used to eating less and less, also try eating little meals throughout the day and also some exercising will really do well



You are not overweight or fat you just need proper work out and a healthy diet and you will get awesome result.
