Can you do too much cardio?!

Question: Can you do too much cardio?
I used to jog a mile every morning, but now I've joined the gym and do a brisk walk for a mile on the treadmill on an incline for 30 minutes, and I do the stationary bike for 30 minutes. Do I need to keep jogging the extra mile every morning or does my gym visit make it even?

Answers:

yes, too much cardio could cause strain on your heart in the future if your doing a lot. And if your not eating enough it could cause you to lose some serious weight.. I became VERY underweight by doing cardio every single day and not eating enough.. I could of injured my body.. I'm okay now though :]
I do 45 minutes on the elliptical 3 days a week..
What your doing now is not too much. Cardio is very good for your body and heart. and keeps you healthy..You could actually do more if you wanted too! Like jog for 30 mins instead of walk
Like I always say, everything in moderation! Just be sure too add some strength training into your routine so you gain some fat-burning, muscle! :]

Gym makes it more than even . You are better off now since you are not jogging and ruining your joints.

orthopedic experience

yes
