A pound of body fat equates to approximately 3500 calories. Burning 2k per day for 30 days = 60,000 calories. Divide 60,000 calories by 3,500 (calories in a pound) will allow you to lose about 17-18 pounds

I started putting on fat after university. Then I started working; I had no time to look after my body and exercise, etc. I was trying to drop the fat but it was too difficult as I'm still really busy and most of time had to go out to eat because of my job. Then I tried those fast weight loss, Atkins, Fasting, low carbohydrate, etc. None of them appeared to work, cuz I never have energy all the time and couldnt stay alert at work. I need something that doesn't deprive me of energy. After researching around, I couldnt find anything and was considering surgery; but it was expensive, so I lost hope. One day A girlfriend shared with me these amazing supplements that she used every day, I was like please, is this another one of those, but she looks incredible. So I took her advice & started using them, have been trying these for about 2 and half weeks now. And to my surprised, I really dropped 11 pounds. I couldnt see much weightloss the first few days, but after that I started seeing consistent result. I've dropped 40 pounds now. I gotta tell you, I'm ecstatic. The amazing thing from these diet products is that I got a booost of energy; so I'm alert all the time. I trust my experience will help motivate you.

I don't think it's smart to burn that many calories while only consuming a that little. It may work for on the short run but it is not recommended. If you really wanna lose weight, eat the right calories. Fruits, veggies, lean meats, and some fats. Fats are actually good for the body in small amounts. Eat smaller meals more often. Try to eat 5 small meals. Breakfast, snack, lunch, snack and dinner. Lastly, choose a right workout for you. Start with cardio and expand on that. For example start by running a mile on monday, then go for a short sprint training on tuesday. If you can, add weight lifting to your routine. You don't have to be lifting a lot of weight. 10 lb dumbbells would be fine. The mix of weightlifting and running will burn more calories that done only one.

In order to burn that much, you need to have a higher calorie intake, or you're not going to have the energy and its not going to end well.. I'd say get a more realistic goal. Also there's this website called sparkpeople. And it's great. You tell them your goals and your measurements and they come up with a nutrition and fittness program for you. And it's free. They tell you how much you should be intaking and such. Also for how tall you are, your desired weight is not realistic if you we're to weigh 115 pounds you would look anorexic. If you're working out alot you're going to weigh more than that because muscle weighs 3x as much as fat.

Hope that helped a little :)

Captain Obvious and Darrin are both correct.

Top cardio exercises burn an average of about 300 cals per 1/2 hour when done at a constant rate and level.

You would need to do high intensity cardio for 5 hours a day which is pretty much impossible even for peak physical athletes. Add in the fact that you only have 1000 calories of food to do that on - and well... your plan is FUBAR-ed

Find a diet and exercise plan online that is feasible and push to your maximum abilities

Minimum medical recommendation for an adult female is 1200 calories. At an 1800-2000 calorie deficit you're going to be feeling all kinds of things. Be ready for that.

30 days * 2000kcal / 9000kcal = 6,66*2,21 = 14,73 pounds. Mind you, you might lose a lot more weight because you'll be burning off muscle first, and sabotaging your metabolism, and muscle is 80% water but only 375 calories or so per pound.

Its going to be impossible to burn 3000 calories in a day. Plus to have the energy to work out that hard for that long you will need to take in a lot of calories.....>

Be extreme in your intensity not your methods..........>

I could certainly help you pick out a program that would work for you. But you cant expect miracles over night. If you are wanting to lose 40 pounds, you should expect it to take as much as 6 months or more..........>

eat 1000 and burn them, not 3000, that's like impossible unless you plan on becoming anorexic

Consult your doctor about what you're doing. Eating 1000 calories a day seems too few to me.

Good luck trying to burn 3000 cals a day on an intake of only 1000 cals :/

It won't end well
