Question: Three months to lose alot of weight how does this plan sound?
Hey soo currently 5ft2 175 pounds, Going away in 3 months to europe and i want to look hot! Looking to lose around 40 pounds. So if i eat 1200 cals a day and run on the treadmill 30 minutes in the morning and 30 at night and weight training twice a week will i look really different in 3 months? How does it sound? By the way ill be doing intervals on the treadmill.

Your strategy is very sound and will undoubtedly achieve your objective provided you can keep it up for 3 months. Perseverance will be required.



Train yourself to eat less and healthier food. Exercise is good for toning and building muscles but does little for weight loss. Get a eating plan not a diet plan. Measure what you eat and reduce that amount each week. Drink only water, cook everything you eat ( boiling or grilling ) except fruit and vegetables.



Go on that show. They lose like 50-80 pounds in the whole summer but you wanna look hot right ;D?



If you are really serious about getting in shape, and you absolutely should be, then you need to learn how your body works.

You have to regulate your blood glucose/insulin levels. You have to base your diet on low carbs. If you are unable to lose fat, you must realize that your diet drives insulin surges in your bloodstream, which leads to hypoglycemia and prevents fat burn for energy. You will crave more carbs, even when feeling full.

Eat often. Every 2-3 hours. If you feel hungry when you eat you are not only setting yourself up to eat excessively, but your body will also store more food as fat!

Another thing that must be monitored is your omega-6:omega-3 ratio. Many clinical studies today show that too much omega-6 (vegetable oils is a primary example) is a major cause for obesity and the resulting massive health complications

Avoid trans fats, hydrogenated oils, soy (except soy lecithin), and polyunsaturated fats. Supplement with fish oil. Forget about calories -- monitor your carbs! I won't be able to tell you how many carbs unless I know your stats. You can easily find out for yourself by checking out my blog though and learning how to do this correctly.

Be sure to add exercising to your diet.
