Am I over exercising?!


Question: Am I over exercising?
I go to the gym 3 three times a week
I have two hardcore sports leaders sessions
Cycling and trampolining everyday
If it helps, I always try to eat healthy... if I eat something unhealthy I work out
Sometimes even a jog
I also walk to school and back

I'm a 15 year old girl.... my body has recently started to become a bit sore... am I overexercising?
and how bad to my health is this?

Answers:

Ha ha you can't over exercise. That soar feeling you're getting is that when you work out really hard your body can no longer do its normal processes of turning Oxygen into CO2 to create ATP that your muscles use to work. When this happens your body begins a different process called fermentation were it breaks down CO2, it makes less ATP but it makes it faster, and the waste product of this is lactic acid instead of CO2. Don't worry this soarness is good for you. After your muscles heal they will be stronger than before. How fast they recover depends on how hydrated you are and how much protein is in your body.

I'm in football were we work out everday extremely hard.



Pretty much what Aaron said, and youre working out 3 times a day which is good, more would do better actually. Since you're 15, you're at the age where you're hormones are up and it's easy to lose weight and get fit, son don't worry, you're doing fine.
