Nobody ever wants to hear it, but the key is diet and exercise. Find ways to incorporate more movement within your day. I worked in an office, and the weight crept up on me. I started with a pedometer and tracked my steps at work during the day, if I didn't hit my goal for the day, I would go for a long walk. This lead to running, taking up yoga, zumba and now am in my 6th week of p90x. As for diet, eating less overall would be unhealthy. Matter of fact, I eat more food daily than I ever did when I was "festively plump" the key for me was eating 6 mini meals daily and quit drinking soda completely. One diet and fitness plan that inspired me to start was "Body for Life" ...that should give you example of good healthy meals and workout ideas.
Also, it helps to have a support system. Get friends and family enrolled in adopting a healthier lifestyle. That way you have workout buddies and people to hold you accountable to make healthy choices.

food and exercise... this is going to sound weird, wrong and like i have no clue what im talking about but trust me here... you should have little snacks throughout the day like every couple of hours eat a snack bar, fruit, or veggies. limit the intake of fatty foods such as eating out and eat balanced meals. have meat veggie starch. do not do a starve yourself or lo carb diet your body is going to need carbs and proteins to build muscle. and for meals eat portions of everything, a portion is about a handful. and for exercise start of doing little things and make a schedule. say you can only jog half a mile... jog that half a mile and once you get confident you can do alittle more step it up run or sprint. go and research defferent workouts you can do at home and set a strict schedule just dont over do it... good luck



Control portion sizes eat through out the day six mini meals. Cut the three meals you usually eat in half and spread them into six mini meals and make sure to eat at least every 2-3 hours. And exercise! Jump rope, swim, dance, jog, etc. Also cut out all the snacks and just purely eat for energy. Veggies and fruits and small amounts of lean protein and carbs.
