Help with my weight, I would like to lose about 60 pounds?!
Question: Help with my weight, I would like to lose about 60 pounds?
You may be wondering, Why dont you just start now? Well I have explicit orders from my Doctor stating that I need to work up to it. I really want to do this the right way, I am tired of being fat and in this society, being obese is becoming a fad, and I do not want part of it. Thank you

The advice to start small is right on the mark. It took a few years to get to that weight and it will take a little while for the weight to come off. Do not be in a hurry. You are already on the right path. Losing weight should not be another job, and it is not. You start with a few life style adjustments, a little shift in your eating, the time you eat, level of stress, sleeping pattern, and level of physical activity; when all these are combined with a positive outlook on life and a good social support, what you get is a body you'll be proud of. Good luck.

hi there, I have been having this overweight issue for so long that it seemed hopeless. I was taking all kinds of stuff. Till I found this site, I was doubtful at first. There was little change for the first week, but I felt great. After losing that initial weight, which was so uplifting, I started to develop good eating habit so I could continue to keep off the fat. I couldn't believe I hadnt found this earlier. Here's the life changing website: www.proloseweightnetwork.tk
Well, first of all, I'll tell you that I was 268 lbs and now am about 210. I think I can relate to what you are doing. I lost my weight more gradually than you want to lose yours, but I also didn't make sudden changes. I started by quitting soda and then kept on making changes until I was living an overall healthy life. It took me almost two years to drop most of the weight I've lost. Your doctor is right start you off slow and steady.
Everybody is different. People lose weight differently. I think most people lose about 15 lbs a month if they are doing it in a healthy way, like you are. Maybe you will hit your goal by the end of August, maybe you won't. But I'm certain that if you follow your plan faithfully, you will lose a lot of weight. Maybe you will lose 40 lbs, or 50 lbs by Aug 30. Maybe you won't reach your goal of weighing 200 lbs til the end of September, or October. But I can just tell you that the main thing is that you will feel better by eating right and exercising. If you stick with it, you will reach your goal soon enough, and maybe more weight.
Edit: Oh and I am 6 foot 3, so I'm about at my goal weight.
changing your diet to only healthy foods is the best thing you can do and will ensure you will lose weight if combine with walking everyday especially.
you can eat how much you like if you stay within these 3 guidelines and still lose fat naturally and gradually. You should lose 10lbs each month on average.
1.eat only steamed lean meats, eggs, healthy fruits ,vegetables, nuts, grains, & yogurt..2. drink only water, juice, & milk..3. walk or do some physical exercise 1-3 hour every day.
(btw, recommend you also to buy an electronic food steamer ((Very cheap)) and a rice cooker as makes it very easy to prepare healthy meals ,,add a bit of olive oil and pepper, spices on top of steamed vegeatables, fish or chicken to add more taste if wish as these are healthy too.)
