First off congrats on your get healthy plan. I'm not sure how tall/short you are but that is what can determine what weight is considered healthy for you. Here are a couple of tips that will help:

- Eat at least 6 small healthy meals a day (Not 3 big meals and don't miss meals)
- Eat AS SOON as you get up in the morning, and don't eat at least 2-3 hours before you go to bed.
- Stop drinking all carbonated drinks... (I guarantee you will loose some weight!)
- Drink lots of water also green tea is good.
- Exercise at least 3 times a week and change your routine up every week, you can dance (join a salsa or other dance class), play a sport even bowling is good, clean, paint, walk the dog, go for a jog, clean the house/room, volunteer to help others etc., and especially don't be lazy "get up and get it yourself" this all contributes to a workout.

In the beginning you may be soar but that means "It's working!"

Last but not least BE STRONG AND CONSISTENT and it will work out for you. Once you begin to lose the weigh you will feel better inside and out...recommended sites or phone apps to help you track your progress are dailyburn.com and mealsnap.com has a phone app where you take a pic of your food and it gives you all kinds of info, it's cool! Also JennyCraig and those types of programs "really do work" but again it's about being consistent but not over doing it! Good Luck!

Just me... I followed these methods myself last year and lost 30 pounds. I know people who have tried Jenny Craig and those other programs and they have lost a lot of weight.

It was so really hard for me to lose all that weight. I have tried so many products but they always left me disappointed. After I had my first child, it went down hill after that; I wasn't to lose the weight I put on from maternity and I just started getting depressed. I was considering cosmetic but it was really expensive. A friend of mine told me about these diet products that she used on a daily basis, I thought for a moment god no, it's another one of those, but she looked incredible. So I took her advice & started using them, have been using them for almost 1 and half weeks now. And I was shocked to see that I dropped 8 lbs. I couldnt see much weightloss the first week, but after that I began seeing constant weightloss. I've lost 20 lbs now. I have to tell ya, I feel incredible, and I'm sure my husband loves it. I trust my journey will get you motivated, now I just need to maintain the weight off and not fall back into one of those dreadful state again.

you should only lose about 2 lbs a week in order to keep it off. For me I go on a walk/jog for 40 mins in the morning and then come home and do a p90X video. Its like getting my cardio in and then coming home to a personal trainer who will tone me and tell me what to do to get an all around good bod.

For eating, I am REALLY enjoying GNC's Vanilla LEAN 25 Protein shakes AS MEAL REPLACEMENTS ONLY. Don't eat too much more with each shake because theyre 200 calories each and are meant to be a meal. I love them so much that I get my workout over with quickly so that I can have a shake. They are made with the right balance of stuff to keep you full and give you the right vitamins that you need so you don't have to worry about putting a correct meal together.
