Good way to gain stamina?!

Question: Good way to gain stamina?
I am 13 year old girl. As the question states. I really want my stamina to go up, because I know we are having the fitness test soon. And I want to get at least 30-40 laps in the pacer test (i got 17 laps(EPIC FAIL first quarter). I also want to get less than 12min on the mile run... So does anyone have any idea how to gain stamina?

Answers:

run every day. do 3 mins of running 3 mins of powerwalking 3 mins of jogging...do like 3 sets of each everyday. not only will ur stamina build up, but you'lll see yourself looking great! lol!

I'm a sophmore in hs. i passed the tes!

Step1 eat light food and not not skip meals
step2 keep ur stomach empty 1-2 hours before run
step3 wear very light weight clothing
step4* tie ur adbominon and belly part that lower stomach with a belt or something alike with moderate pressure not very tight, this is to keep ur body at right posture while running
step5* do meditation , exercises ur familiar with and STRETCHING before running
step6* start as slow as u can , slower than walking( at test time dint be that slow) , ur speed will increase automatically , then after a average speed , start pushing itself with greater force
step7 u can drink Waite but not more than a sip when ur throat dries, AVOID DRINKING WATER
step8* when u feel exists dint stop abruptly first slower down ur speed then walk for few min and then stop. take few min rest and must do st reaching IT HELP U KEEPING PAIN IN CONTROL
step9 if u wish to run more, follow step 6,7 and 8
step 10 take warm water baths, and if leg pains use warm water , dint take painkillers.
step 11 dint skip practice, and never get disheartened , apply double strength at next practice session.
step12 take a chill pill ;)
this method has being thought to me by an NC Cadet.

All the very best. Cheers!!!!!!!!!!!

I am also 13 soon to be 14. I can run the mile run in 6- min. So i would sugjest you should start running 2 miles a day. Or run a slow 20-35 min jog. Then eventuelly stat running faster and longer to get in enough shape. Start out slow then pick up the pace. Also get involved in sports I play basketball, soccer, and run cross country. Try to get 60-90 min of exercise per day.
