Question: Gaining Muscle after Anorexia?
I had been struggling with anorexia nervosa for about a year or 2, and am now in recovery. I started in january and went from 6 stone 7 and now weigh 7 stone 3 :) i think i'm doing really well, but i want to gain more muscle tha fat, because i'm scared my muscle wasted away in the months i wasnt eating properly. I have to eat about 1800 calories a day to gain without doing any excercise, so what excercise do you suggest i do, and what to eat to help bulk up, and how much? bit confused thanks for any help :) xxxx

To gain muscle you need to gain weight. Eat a lot of protein (meat, beans, peanut butter, etc) I used whey powder is a protein powder you can use for shakes, it has a lot of protein.
When you go to the gym go to the sculpting equipments. Since you're in the process of healing from anorexia I suggest you avoid threadmills as they burn everything (calories, fats and even muscle)
