If I follow this diet will i lose weight?!


Question: If I follow this diet will i lose weight?
Im 12 years old i give up sweets and fried foods also soda how much weight will come off?Is this diet okey? Breakfast i have an egg 1 piece of whole weat bread milk and water.For lunch i have a grilled cheese sandwich and an apple with water.
Dinner i eat a meat with a side salad. I work out everynight doing cardio for 20-60 min.

its pretty good cuz junk food is actually pretty bad for you. nice hearing that you exercise. you can also include snacks in between meals; healthy snacks of course. just make sure your not restricting your diet cuz your still growing rite now.



i thought the person asking this was over the age of 18. You are 12, why are you worrying so much?
If you are obese then yes this is a potential health problem. If you want to be healthy, then yes, you can eat less sweets and greasy foods. That will lower your cholesterol. And if you replace some of what you drink with water, maybe you'll lose a couple of pounds. (since their is alot sugar in a majority of all the fruit drinnk/soda people drink). Stop worrying so much about your weight, if you needed to be on a diet, your doctor would have told you already.(unless he already did)

I remember what I ate when I was 12.
Oatmeal for breakfast
An orange and a fat free yogurt at snack time
A salad and half a chicken breast for lunch
A protein bar before my workout
A banana, glass of milk with whey.
For dinner I had whatever my mom made, 1/2 chicken breast and broccoli and rice, cabbage rolls....
I had whatever I wanted before bed: a yogurt, almonds, dried mango (natural)....

Mind you, I am a competitive runner. The grilled cheese sounds sketchy. Is it processed cheese? I can't have cheese (semi lactose intolerant) and I would never eat that if I could. I would have a bigger breakfast and 4 other SMALL meals. Good luck, you definitely shouldn't cut calories, that's how I got my eating disorder.... I wouldn't eat even though I was running a lot.



it sounds like a good idea.
but how much you will lose really depends on your height, weight and metabolism. you should only aim to lose 1 or 2 pounds a week. at your age you shouldnt become too preoccupied with losing unless your really overweight



That's good. But don't be scared to add salad pasta..meat (peanut butter and beans if you're vegetarian) you need protein. But you've a good plan going for you. Hope it turns out good. Btw, remember not to cheat your diet.
