Question: If I don't eat anything until August how much weight will I lose?
I am very overweight and I need to lose weight fast
For the last year I been very ill with depression and I haven't left the house. I have gained a lot of weight in that time.

I'm not really sure how much I weigh now but I know that I'm obese. My ideal weight is 140lbs (But I'm still healthy at 150lbs and that is accecptable) However I think I weigh around 180lb now.

I can't possible leave the house , or carry on looking like I do. And I really need to lose at least some weight before I go out.

I'm not very fit at the moment. So it is hard to exercise. Though I'm trying to do some.

BTW Whilst I won't eat any solids for a month. I am still drinking water. And I'm having vitamins and a glass of fruit juice a day. So that I'm not starving.



I'm really desaperate. I need to change the way I look because I can't do anything looking this ugly and fat.

Theres better ways than just 'not eating' as that causes bloating then you'll never get ridda it and die.

Just excersie, eat better and think better thoughts.
Try running/jogging for an hour/two a day.
Get some excerise into your daily rountine.



You will die. Look, leta be realistic do you really think a human being can go without food for that long?
No freaking way. Just quit eating junk, and exercise moderately, is it really so hard?
Its definitely easier than quiting to life.



Just don't eat AS MUCH, eat metabolism boosting foods.
Make sure you get enough exercise [move around a lot!]. Also muscles burn calories.



Not eating will actually make you gain weight! Suprise suprise! So do what you said above and watch yourself slowly gain weight! Have fun!



Depending on how quick you'd rot in your coffin..... seriously?! Exercise and cut out all unhealthy things from your diet. Eat lots of veggies. Do cardio 6 days a week.



I started putting on fat after university. Then I started working; I had no time to look after my body and exercise, etc. I was trying to drop the fat but it was too difficult as I'm still really busy and most of time had to go out to eat because of my job. Dude FYI starvation is a horrible way to die!! And if you don't eat that's what's gonna happen!! You have little less than 5 months which is plenty of time to reach your goal weight, if done right! Starvation and liquid diets are not the way to go! You just need to reduce the size of your meals and make sure you're eating enough fruits, vegetables, and proteins. Exercise; start of a comfortable pace like 20 - 30 min a day and as you progress you might be able up up your pace to 45 min to an hour if your comfortable there. But first you need a positive attitude!! You're never gonna get anywhere if you keep referring to yourself as ugly and fat!!



Basically if you don't eat anything until August you will die, so get that idea out of your head immediately as you'll make yourself very ill. A diet of Vitamins and Fruit juice are not the answer, I seriously ask you to stop this diet immediately!

You say you have 40lbs to loose, so aim to loose 2lbs per week and within 4/5 months you'll have lost the weight in a safe sustainable way. You did not put on all the weight in one day, nor are you going to loose it in one day either.

Eat 3 normal meals per day, include plenty of fruit a veg, and up your activity levels. Walk everywhere you can, etc.. aim for the 2lbs per week, and you'll be not only looking good but feeling god also.

Please, please don't carry on with what you are doing. If in doubt, visit you local doctor.



you would die :'( try what you planned but make sure you have some solids, the problem is probably just that you ate too much of it, just eat enough to survive. also 180 pounds, doesnt sound bad esp since im around that size and dont look overweight. exercise you need basically so try it out, step by step like try to do one pushup a day till your comfortable; then move on to 2 a day or every other day if you want, same with running for like a min a day- then two mins etc. build it up that way because starving isnt gonna be a pretty ride, but exercise and eating even a little less than the right ammount, would be beneficial...srry i kinda answered more than you asked tho :]
