Question: If I am 12 years old and im a girl who is 5'1 and weighs 126 pounds am I fat?
Hi, I am on my mom's Yahoo Account asking the question up there^^ I wanted ya'lls opinion on that question. I have asked my mom the same question but of course she is my mom and she said "your not fat" like a typical mother. so am i fat or need to loose weight or what?
(and i do understand the fat i am going through puberty and growing)

Nope you're not fat, and there's no need to try and loose weight, just stay active(play a sports, or dance, and don't become a lazy teen, so no couch potato, so bike/walk instead of bus, stairs instead of elevator, that kinda thing) and you'll be perfectly alright.



nope you are not fat because you are stilll growing. Don't go on diets or anythng because then your puberty might not start like it should be. Just eat like you always do but STOP EATING the junk food and fast food. ANd just do exercise like walking for 30 min or walking to school. And when you hit puberty, you wil start to grow. And when you grow, you will lose weight and be tall and nice. If you go on a diet now, you might not hit puberty and not grow. So it's important that you still eat properly like you always do and do exercise.



No, you aren't fat and yes, puberty will even you out if you eat right and exercise for the next seven years.
Don't log on and post under you mother's account again. You have to be 13 to post here, and if enough people report you, her account will be suspended.
And don't try to pretend you're she, either, because a 13 yr old's writing "style" is easy to spot.



hmm for a 12 year old, maybe in the middle, its better than being super skinny or a too fat, there are people your age who are way more fatter than you and are ridiciously fat, just be yourself, theres nothing to worry about, however if you still feel that way, and you like to loose some weight or be fit visit this site: www.sparkteens.com it has lots of helpful info about getting into shape, and living a healthy lifestyle. :)

hey, I had a weight trouble for a long time. I used to take all kinds of pills.
