Eating Chinese Food Everyday?!


Question: Eating Chinese Food Everyday?
Is this bad for you?

I love chinese and recently i've been ordering every other day!

I'm starting to feel like other food isn't good enough, I'm only satisfied when getting a chinese!

Any tips on how to stop the urge?! and what would happen if i had 1 everyday? Are they really that unhealthy?

Take away Chinese is full of a chemical MSG (Also is in mcdonalds, Pringles and lots of other foods) this is a chemical that makes your body want more, so the Pringles slogan "Once you pop you just can't stop" is perfectly fitting.

That is the only reason you feel only satisfied with this food,your body is getting a lot of the MSG chemical and is getting too used to/addicted to the stuff.
Take away chinese is really not good for you mainly because of all the saturated fats, salts, sugars MSG and other none natural chemicals.

I would suggest you try making your own Chinese, making it yourself is very satisfying and really does taste much better. I used to be addicted to the takeaway noodles.
I now make my own, with my own sauces.
That way you know what's going in to it. You will probably find that after making your own and skipping the Chinese takeout for a while will make you realise how artificial the flavours are next tine you try it. ( I did this and now I can't stand take out Chinese)

look up the recipes of your favourite foods and then make them, Chinese isusually quick and simple recipes with lots of flavours ( Once you get the basic ingredients,you will have enough to last quit a few meals)

like I said i love the noodles so usually get noodles add meat and veg then start a sauce with a chicken or veg stock then add things like garlic, soy sauce, chilli etc (Whatever you like best) can be lovely. Also make my own lemon chicken and egg fried rice. Easy.

Chinese food can be very good for you, but not the stuff from the take away, its all artificial.



American Chinese food is deep fried with sauce, one of the worst choices if you're talking about health. If you can try steamed dishes, or ask them to have sauce on the side so you can add how much/how little you want. Don't pick up the phone and order, throw away the menu. You can have it once a week but if you keep eating like this, you'll gain a lot of weight and regret it really soon and really bad.



Chinese food = A LOT of carbohydrates.

Did you know that that fried chicken has like 900 calories! and it's like 7 inches. Try drinking green tea and lots of water and home cooked rice and some chicken breast covered in low fat sauce x) or another healthier version of the fast food.

There's nothing wrong eating chinese food everyday, I like eating chinese food! :D
Nothing bad will happen if you keep on eating chinese food. We've been eating those kind of meals for 12 years. It's healthy, I mean, cause I'm from Asia, and chinese food here is fresh.
