Question: What are some healthy changes I can make in my life?
I've been doing a lot more question asking about healthy choices in my life, so any changes involving, well whatever, diet, etc. Anything really is helpful!

If you are really serious about being healthy, and you absolutely should be, then you must understand how your body works.

You have to regulate your blood glucose/insulin levels. That means your diet must be based on low carbs. If you are unable to burn fat, you must realize that your diet drives insulin surges in your bloodstream, which leads to hypoglycemia and prevents fat burn for energy. The consequence is that you crave more carbs, even if you just ate.

Eat frequently. Every last 2-3 hours. By eating hungry you are not only setting yourself up to eat excessively, but your body will also rush to store everything as fat!

The next most important thing to watch out for is your omega-6: omega-3 rate. Many clinical studies today show that too much omega-6 (found in vegetable oils) is the single biggest reason for obesity and the resulting massive health complications

Don't consume foods that contain hydrogenated oils, excessive polyunsaturated fats, trans fats, and soy (except soy lecithin) Supplement with fish oil. Don't worry about calories -- watch your carb intake! I would need to know your age, weight, gender, and weight loss history to tell you how many carbs. Any kind of exercising in addition to eating correctly, will produce optimal results.
