Why isn't my weight dropping off continuously?!

Question: Why isn't my weight dropping off continuously?
I've been eating below 1,500 calories for a couple months now, I started to run everyday since the end of March and I lost some weight then BAM it hasn't moved from where it's at. I don't know what I should tweak. It's like my weight will begin to move and then it'll stop it's discouraging.

Its because your body is reluctant to get rid of that precious energy. The fat that burned off when you first started working out is what happens to everyone. Your body isnt used to being pushed that hard, so it immediately, without having time to think, takes that fat and burns it up. But now that you are working out on a regular basis, your body has become used to it and is looking for an alternate method of energy and is relying more on it's own strength and on muscle. What you want to get off is that nasty subcutaneous fat that nobody wants! The problem is, thats the last thing your body wants to get rid of. Like a camel stores water in its humps your body stores energy right under the skin. Like oil reserves. NOW when you workout your body is going to use the inner fat that you dont notice. I'LL get to the point. What you need to do is keep working out and keep that low calorie diet. Make sure you have a colorful plate with veggies and fruits and meat. Nothing fried or greasy. NO SODAS! water water water. Your body is 70% water. Give it what it needs. Eventually your body will be FORCED to use its fat reserves. And you will start to lose the weight! Cardio is the best weight shedder. Keep it up!

Sometimes your body will just stop, just change your routine, or up your work out intensity.
this has happened to me twice - it's frustrating, then all of a sudden I had some big drops.

Typically the body doesn't like to lose weight - it panics and thinks that it will never regain what it's lost so it holds onto what it's got or uses just enough to stabilize it's self.

hope this helps - good luck

good job since you've already lost some weight
but you should do cardio (like the running you mentioned) then, rest a couple minutes, and do strength training. you'll build up muscle and muscle burns calories. good luck!

talk to a personal trainer

find the carbohydrates in your diet and cut those down and you'll see results
