Is it too slow to burn 1 pound in two weeks?!

Question: Is it too slow to burn 1 pound in two weeks?
Hi, I'm kinda struggling with my weight right now and my exercise plan. it's been frustrating. I just wanted to know if it too slow for a 5'7 185 lbs guy to lose one pound in two weeks. Thanks.

Answers:

There is no 'too slow' unless you are getting no results (while trying to)...remember, the slower you lose, the higher your chance you'll keep it off...1/2 lb per week may be frustrating, but that means you aren't using drastic measures...you are using methods you'll be able to continue once you hit your goal...

Bravo you, for some progress....I mean, ideal weight range for a guy your height is 138 - 162, so you're not way up over that...some weeks you may have more loss than others...

It was so really hard for me to lose all that weight. I have tried so many products but they always left me disappointed. After I had my first child, it went down hill after that; I wasn't to lose the weight I put on from maternity and I just started getting depressed. I was considering cosmetic but it was really expensive. A friend of mine told me about these diet products that she used on a daily basis, I thought for a moment god no, it's another one of those, but she looked incredible. So I took her advice & started using them, have been using them for almost 1 and half weeks now. And I was shocked to see that I dropped 8 lbs. I couldnt see much weightloss the first week, but after that I began seeing constant weightloss. I've lost 20 lbs now. I have to tell ya, I feel incredible, and I'm sure my husband loves it. I trust my journey will get you motivated, now I just need to maintain the weight off and not fall back into one of those dreadful state again.

If you want to lose fat and keep it gone, it's not important how fast you lose it. The only thing that matters is that you lose it eventually and keep it off. Diet is part of a lifestyle. If you approach it with the attitude that you're going to map out an eating strategy for life, making slight adjustments in portion size to go from losing to maintenance, you'll quickly understand that you have years to get to goal if that's how long you want to take. And, that applies to your workouts or exercise routine as well.

The problem most people run into is their secret belief that some day everything will change...they'll get slim and buff and then they won't have to do much to stay that way. Of course, they always find out that life and aging gets between them and that naive concept and that's why the end up over weight again with a couple of inches hanging over their belt line where a six pack used to be.

Good health is a way of life and diets are forever.

Good luck!!
