If you were trying to lose belly fat would you...?!

Question: If you were trying to lose belly fat would you...?
eat 100% whole wheat pasta/macaroni
and what would you not eat so you can lose it quickly?

Answers:

excercise. first of all. its hard to lose the fat simply by changing the diet(although that is a very important aspect)

I'd stay away from carb unless your going to workout alot(mainly cardio) afterward.
eatting carb make it harder to lose fat because....

your body needs to burn energy when you excercise.
if you have carb in your body, thats the number 1 choice of energy the body wishes to burn as energy source. So if they burn the carb? what happens to the fat? the body stores the fat for emergencies. so without carb(not too much atleast) the body is forced to use fat as a source of energy.

goodluck. im on the same msision as you, just sharing what i just learned

I would try not to eat pasta but I love it so much. I just want the belly smaller. I suck in my tummy like I was trying to hold it to my back bone and breath normally. While I breath normal, I count to ten. Then next time I count to twenty. I also try to do it while I'm in traffic, waiting in a long line, or when I go for a walk. My muscles have lost the tone it use to have and need to get the muscles back in shape. I've lost pounds but not the tummy.. Work in progress

I wouldn't eat carbs. I would eat lots of lean protein (egg whites, chicken, etc.) Stay away from sugars. Exercises is key! 30 mins of cardio at least 4 times a week with crunches. You need to get rid of the fat by doing cardio before you will see definition from the crunches in your belly. Good luck!

Here is printable grocery list you can print, it will help you out with what you can eat that is healthy...

And even though staying fit and getting healthy does require 90% nutrition, you NEED to get in a good 3-5 days of exercise. At least 30 minutes of cardio, and maybe lift some weights, LESS reps/sets so you don't gain mass, as you just want to be lean i would assume. hit those crunches and ab exercises. Most people avoid exercise because It's HARD. It's only hard because it works! :-)

Stay active!!!
