Question: How to lose 40 pounds in 2 months?
I'm 13 years old, 4 10 1/2 and 130 pounds. I have school works and have to practice my band instrument.
How can I lose weight? What are some tips of losing weights? What kind of exercise are the best and how long I should exercise per day? What should I eat in breakfast, snack, lunch, and dinner? How much pounds should I lose per week? PLEASE HELP !!!

The more exercise you do the more weight you lose!!! If you do 7 hours of exercise everyday you can possibly be guarenteed to lose 20lbs in 1 week. But that is sooooo unrealistic. So lets be realistic! If you eat 1500 calories then you need to work out for 1 hour with cardio of course for more than that so that you can lose the weight and extra weight. Also your diet plan needs to be monitored. NO JUNK food! If you stay away from junk and sodium you will be OK! So if you propotionalize your potion then it would be good! Try to stick with the 100 pack sweets and things like that and you should be ok. Working out is necessary! You can not just eat well and expect to lose weight but you know what you can also try the atkins diet it is guarenteed to make you lose weight . Atkins diet is strictly NO CARBS and for 7 days you are guaranteed to lose 15lbs in the first two weeks without exercise!

Losing 40 pounds in 2 months is very rapid weight loss and unhealthy. You need to change your habits to get rid of those that led to gaining the weight. Do not use pills, starvation diets, clenses, or any other gimiks. They may work short term, but unless you change your habits, as soon as you stop using it, you will gain the weight back. 1-2 pounds/week is considered a healthy reasonable weight loss and is not very hard to achieve with a little self discipline.

The key to healthy weight loss is healthy nutrition including portion control along with exercise. You need to do cardio 3-4 times/week and strength training 1-2 times. Start with just a few minutes then gradually add time and intensity until you are doing 45-60 minutes at once.

Cut out sweets, seconds, and junk including processed foods and things made from white flour. Use the whole grain version instead like whole wheat or multi-grain bread, whole wheat pasta (which I actually prefer), and brown rice. Eat lots of fresh fruits and veggies. Drink only water. However, allow yourself one small cheat a week. This keeps you from feeling deprived and gives you something to look forward to the rest of the week.

Try dividing your plate into quarters. First fill half with fruits and veggies, The other quarters are for the lean protein and whole grain carb. This will help limit your calories and ensure you get plenty of fruits and veggies.



Since I am just two years older than you, I am not going to say the boring way of losing weight. Make it fun :). For exercise, try to move whenever possible. Even at school, you can move your legs around under your desk discreetly (just make sure you aren't distracting anybody). When you want a routine (you can do this one or two times a day), you can either buy a 'Kinect Dance' Game, or you can go to Youtube, and they have the games on there. Just type in 'Kinect dance song'. That way your workouts are fun, and they burn a lot of calories. As for meals, just try not to eat food super high in calories, but don't starve yourself either. K, first off, you should know muscle weighs more than fat so what you need is a diet not an exercise regime. In you case I would eat a bowl of oatmeal (not cereal) in the morning with some fruit, follow it by a lettuce salad with chicken or turkey for lunch and finally another larger salad with lots of vegetables for dinner.



u shouldnt lose no more then 2lbs per week. if ur only 130, y would u want to lose 40lbs? just b happy with who u r.
